Born and raised in the heart of the Lowcountry in Charleston, South Carolina, Ryan Wilks grew up exploring every square inch of the land and enjoying every part of the ocean —fishing the creeks, boating the waterways, and surfing the coast. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will enable him to help you secure your place in the welcoming community of this charming southern town. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Clemson University, Ryan spent the last two decades traveling throughout the southeast in a corporate sales position. In his spare time, his love of woodworking and remodeling led him into the realm of home renovations and then quickly into the world of real estate. While still maintaining his full time sales position, Ryan earned his real estate license 9 years ago, which enabled him to assist countless friends and family buy and sell their homes. In the fall of 2018, this devoted father of two made the decision to work closer to home and join Drake Herrin’s Carolina One Real Estate team full time. Together these Charleston natives continue the work that this trusted company started over fifty years ago: providing a full range of real estate services to countless families in the metro Charleston area including West Ashley, Mt.
